Hearing Impaired K–12 (020) Name Change
The Bureau of Educator Certification (BEC) has changed the name of certification in this area to Deaf or Hard of Hearing effective June 2020. The name of the subject area examination and any references on this website will not be updated until September 2021. Therefore, know that any references to "Hearing Impaired K–12" aligns to the new certification name of "Deaf or Hard of Hearing K–12." Please note, there has been NO change to the content or competencies and skills for this exam.
