Why Participate?

• Respond to items that may appear on future versions of the test form.
• Gain practical testing experience.
• For English 6–12 and Middle Grades English 5–9, practice for newly designed written assignments that were implemented on January 1, 2024.
• For each pilot test form completed, receive a $75.00 check (upon verification of satisfactory participation of a completed test form with at least 25% of items answered correctly, or, for written assignments, responses that are scorable and of appropriate length). Examinees will be required to complete a W-9 form prior to receiving compensation.

Details

• Eligible candidates may register for up to two sessions in a single pilot test field. Participants must complete the first pilot test before a second can be scheduled.
• Pilot test registration is open now for pilot test appointments starting in May 2024.

Eligibility

• Recent examinees in these fields (0–3 years)
• Recently certified educators in these fields (0–2 years)
• Educator preparation students in one of the fields listed above
