Program Policy Updates and Enhancements
Effective June 27, 2018, a number of program policies and enhancements have been
implemented as follows.
- Retake Policy. For a test/subtest/section for which you received
a passing score, you must now wait three years before retaking that test/subtest/section.
If you scheduled a retake for a test while your results were pending and subsequently
received a passing score, your retake appointment will be canceled. For tests with
multiple subtests/section, you will need to reschedule only for the subtests for
which you did not receive a passing score.
- Admission Tickets Replaced by Appointment Confirmation Email. Admission
Tickets are being replaced by an Appointment Confirmation Email. The Appointment
Confirmation Email will contain the same information that was provided on your Admission
Ticket (appointment date, time, location) as well as important policy reminders
and directions to the test site. As part of this change, appointment reminder emails
will also be sent 48 hours prior to your test appointment. You are not required
to bring your Appointment Confirmation Email to the test center on the day of the
test.
- Online Secure Document Uploader Form. This can be used to submit
secure materials related to your account information to the Pearson Customer Contact
Center. See "Submit Materials" on the Contact
Us page.
- Online Alternative Arrangements Request Form. This form can now
be completed and submitted online, eliminating the need to mail or fax this form.
Supporting documentation can also be uploaded as part of this enhanced online process.
See About Alternative Arrangements
for more information and to access this online form.
- Elimination of CLAST Scores. During the 2014 Legislative Session,
the passage of House Bill 433 amended s. 1012.56, FS, which eliminated the obsolete
option of achieving a passing score on the CLAST earned prior to July 1, 2002, to
satisfy the general knowledge requirement. As a result, duplicate score reports
for CLAST scores will no longer be available. Duplicate score report requests for
CLAST scores postmarked on or after June 27, 2018, will be returned unprocessed.
