Format Computer-based test (CBT); approximately 75 multiple-choice questions
Testing Time 2 hours and 30 minutes

Test Dates By appointment, year round. You will schedule your test during registration, based on available dates.

Passing Score A scaled score of at least 200
Reference Materials Provided for This Test A physics reference sheet is provided.
A scientific calculator, such as the TI-30 XIIS, TI-30 XS, or similar model, will be provided at the test site. Examinees may not bring their own calculator.
Test Fee $150
Score Reporting Unofficial pass/non-pass status is typically provided immediately after testing. However, onsite reporting may not be available for tests being redeveloped or revised. See Onsite Reporting Link opens pop-up window for current information.
